My name is Olivia Jackson

I am the young mommy of a beautiful five-year-old daughter. I am currently enrolled at Spartanburg Methodist College where I am set to graduate with my Bachelor's degree in English, Psychology, and Professional Development in May 2024. I aspire to own my own childcare center that is inclusive for children with special needs. The reason behind my project (Educated Young Parents of the Upstate) is simple. I am a young parent who has experienced mental health struggles, burnout, doubt, loneliness, and unsureness. I wanted to create an environment for other young parents to be educated, motivated, and elevated for themselves and their children.
